A record number of people took to the streets of Muscat for the biggest ever running event in Oman- the 2020 AL MOUJ MUSCAT MARATHON on 22 Feb 2020. More than 10, 000 runners from 102 different countries participated in the 12th edition of Al Mouj Muscat Marathon and Jagwani Group of Company’s employees participated in the 5k Charity Fun run in aid of the Oman Diabetes Association and Environmental Society of Oman.
Jagwani Group of Companies participated in the Al Mouj Muscat Marathon –Charity Fun Run 2019. The runners taking part were supporting numerous charitable organisations, including the six official Al Mouj Muscat Marathon charities – the Oman Cancer Association, Dar Al Atta Association, Oman Diabetes Association, Oman Down Syndrome Association, Al Noor Association for the Blind and the Environment Society of Oman.
The 3rd Edition of Jagwani’s Golf for Atta’a tournament was a roaring success held on October 27, 2018, at the Al Mouj Golf Club.
The bi-annual event organized by the Jagwani family is an avenue to spread fun and happiness and support the needs of the charity association of Dar Al Atta’a.
Dar Al Atta’a in association with Gopal & Niti Jagwani organized the second edition of Golf for Atta’s tournament, the proceeds of which was used for constructing the house for an unprivileged family.
‘Golf for Atta’a’, a charity golf event for Dar al Atta’a, was held on November 7 at the Ghala Valley Golf Club. The sports event was organized by Gopal Jagwani, director of Jagwani group of companies. A total of 44 players from 11 company teams participated in the event, inaugurated by H E Dr Mohammed bin Hamad al Rumhi, Minister of Oil and Gas. Total RO14,500 was raised for the building which Dar al Atta’a plans to erect and rent out to generate income for its various programmes.
Cycling and walking for a cause was initiated by Gopal C. Jagwani in association with Dar Al Atta’a. Dar Al Atta’a is an inclusive charity association that caters to the needy in the Sultanate. It is a non-profit volunteer-based charity that was formed in 2002 and formally registered as a charity in the Ministry of Social Development in 2006. In the event, Mr.Jagwani peddled 240 Km for a noble cause and collected RO 3000.
